NL CRIT SERIES
2015 - 2018

What I did
Founder, art director, race format design, graphic designer, marketing and social media, racer
To help grow the beautiful sport of fixed gear racing in The Netherlands, I launched a fixed gear racing series. The idea was to organize races which are fun for any level to compete in - based on the Flow theory.

Together with co-founder and race manager Jan-Willem Blok, and a passionate team of organizers, we built a super fun yearly series of races. With up to 12 races per year.

This project was about giving a platform to a growing community, which was an absolute joy to see happening.

Apart from developer and organizer, I was also doing art direction and graphic design, and have made fun little extra’s like “prime cakes” (let friends and family of the racers bake cakes as prime round prize), acquired custom built frames as main prize.

KOGA TRACK & TEAM F.A.S.T.
2013 - 2014

What I did
Team manager, sponsor, art direction and graphic design, social media and marketing
I designed a special version of the famous Koga Full Pro Track track frame and recognized it as a fixed gear criterium bike and sold it like that under my Wit Industries brand. I built up completely “murdered out”, all black fixed gear racing bikes.

To promote the frame, I sponsored and managed fixed gear racing team Team F.A.S.T. for competing in the unofficial world cup of fixed gear racing: Red Hook Criterium.

Stefan Vis won the 2013 Red Hook Crit in Barcelona on this bike.
